Some more malware removers to try

We all know that AdAware and SpyBot are pretty good programs but they DO have their limits because nothing gets ALL of the problems. So here are a few more to try. To increase your statistical chances of getting rid of more spyware, you should try some of these or have them ready when something is clobbering your computer. www.comparespywareremovers.com

Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool

The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks your computer for infection by specific, prevalent malicious software (including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom) and helps to remove the infection if it is found. Microsoft will release an updated version of this tool on the second Tuesday of each month. This works as a complement to the Microsoft Antispyware Beta.

Media Player Classic

Media Player Classic looks like Windows Media Player 2 and it plays nearly everything. It does what Realplayer does, what Quicktime player does, what Windows Media Player does. It plays mp3, mp3 pro, ogg vorbis, video, dvd, etc. The only thing it does not play, 'til now, is .flac (that can be converted with dBpowerAMP Music Converter). Amazingly, it is free. You can get it here in a package that is called K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.

Create PDF files for free

Here's another possibility for .pdf-creation programs to 'roll your own' ... This URL goes to Adobe's own site that will do it for you ... you do need to register - but it's FREE - and establish your preferences ...

Regarding Free PDF generation, I've been using CutePDF Writer since January. One great advantage of having such a program available on your machine is the ability to print pages to an electronic file instead of to paper; the advantage is that you've got the info saved for later reading, sending, printing, archiving, etc., and you don't have to scan the paper if you want an electronic version.
