Although I mentioned SourceForge before in passing (in announcing Audacity - the music editing program) - you can find a fantastic number of free programs available from this organization: sourceforge.net
Their software categories include the following:
• Database
• Desktop
• Enterprise
• Development
• Financial
• Games
• Hardware
• VoIP
• Multimedia
• Networking
• Security
• SysAdmin
Many of the programs are available for both PC and Mac. New programs are included and old programs are updated on a regular basis.
Happy hunting,

Some of these are stunning, others heart stopping. Like the pilot doing an intentional stall, the idiot trying to fly off the Eiffel Tower (a Pathe movie from the twenties or so), or the guy who survived (yes, he did) being sucked into a jet engine.
If you have a fast pipe, I stuck my favorites in a big 34MB zipped file:

In many cases, these videos have been sent to us by pilots and aviation enthusiasts who know we collect aviation videos. In most cases we are unaware of their original source -- but if you know, please contact us. We will be glad to give proper credit to the camera person, or, if requested, we will remove the video from our site.
