The Palo Alto Fire Department has installed a new experimental camera system at Fire Station #8 in Foothills Park. This camera pans 360 degrees and takes a series of photos that are updated every two minutes to provide real-time pictures of the surrounding area. The images are placed into the City's web site at www.cityofpaloalto.org/oes/fire where they can be viewed via computer. Full article here.
