Here's something: Titanic in thirty seconds It's silly but it made me laugh. -Dave
The whole AngryAlien site there is silly, Dave.... and I personally think their "The Exorcist in 30 seconds" is funnier. 8-)

Funny Microsoft Q Articles
Here's a collection of computer humor directly from Microsoft. Well, ONE of them is a parody. The links were accumulated from colleagues, Usenet and web searches, but mostly from "googlewhacking" the Knowledge Base. Enjoy!jill.jazzkeyboard.com/qarticles.html

Stupid Jokes - Workplace Vocabulary for definitions of, among others, blamestorming, salmon day, seagull manager. Some ot these definitions will hit close to home (or should we say work?).
Arsole? Putrescine? Dickite? Moronic Acid? This list of Molecules with Silly or Unusual Names (one NSFW image) proves that scientists can be funny, as does this Stuffy Scientists page, and Mark Isaak's terribly thorough Curiosities of Biological Nomenclature (see, especially, Puns). If you are tempted to wonder what the Father of Taxonomy might have thought of the irreverence of those last two collections, keep in mind that Linnaeus himself named this plant "Clitoria Mariana" in honor of an 'acquaintance', according to this page.

This verse—
“Scintillate, scintillate, globule vivific!
In vain do I ponder thy nature specific--
Precariously poised in the ether capacious,
Closely resembling a gem carbonaceous;”
—was the solution to an online cryptogram I enjoy that changes daily wordzap.com/enigma/enigma.asp.
A translation (if you need it), and more similar verses are available at www.arnspub.com/arnspub/MotherGoosePhD.

This is a really, really difficult puzzle, a Flash game that I doubt even the brightest of you will get through in short order. So go kill a little time. (One hint, courtesy Alex E: One easy clue that's not cheating. Use the tab key to find out where to click..). BTW, It took me over two hours, on and off, but I finally got to the end. And yes, I had to cheat because I got as far as the safe but couldn't figure out the right combination. (yes, now I realize where it was, so don't write and tell me I'm not to bright; it's something I already know.)

If you are stuck at the safe, here's the way in… snipurl.com/thesafe.
Crimson Room Spoilier
What a bunch of kvetchers. Some of you can't find the second battery (it's by the front of the bed on the right side). Others complained that the movie didn't tell them anything (press the plus sign after the movie ends). BTW, as far as I know, the empty CD case was a red herring.
So for those of you who didn't get very far—and for rest of you right on the cusp of completing the Crimson Room, here's a site with spoilers.
You'll see that you have to "Highlight text below for spoiler"; please don't write and ask me how to do it...
